First wkend aft exams

05 Dec 09

Had a great time at CG today, the message was Good! =D Dinner was at Buckaroo (Sembawang) with dar. This is the 1st time that we’re dining at this place. The ambience was ok, the layout and theme of the place is interesting… Here’s some photo highlights:

We had calamari, Buffalo wings and a Buckaroo Pizza. The servings were big! We couldn’t finish all the food so we ended up packing some of the pizza back. The price range wise is quite similar to Café Cartel and the place was pretty pack with customers during dining hours. Looks like a pretty nice place to chill and chat with friends. If you have a car, it would be more accessible. As the place is located near Sembawang Park, pretty inaccessible if you were to change from train to bus etc..
After a nice dinner, we headed down to the Botanic Garden. We had a hard time finding a carpark lot. So here’s a tiny advice for all that’s driving there to see the Xmas lightings… Park at the NUS carpark and walk over, probably take u 7mins? Although it was drizzling, the were quite a lot of visitors around still, carrying their umbrella and u see families, friends and couples walking down the trails to see the different Xmas tree decorated by the various participating schools, companies and communities. Pretty nice place to go if you’re free in the evening, head on down.. Oh and before we left the place, there was a photographer from the press who asked me and my bf to pose for some photos… Guess it’s like those photos that you frequently see in the newspaper with captions saying that the event was great turnout
